Five years ago my nails were still taking the brunt of my anxiety, and I hid them as well as I could. This is the only picture I ever took of them, for around 50 years.
It took 2 or 3 years of learning how to care for them, and the support of this wonderful community, but I'm here to attest that you can overcome the shame and discomfort and feel joy about your beautiful nails, no matter your age. (Pics 2&3 are from today, my 70th birthday, just with clear base and QDTC) Be patient, it takes time. Search here when you have questions. But above all, know that you are in the company of many fellow ex-nail-biters here, and we accept you at every point in your journey. 💖

Wow! I also started painting my nails to stop biting and it’s grown into a passion even. Keep it up
